The University's program in 2011 in Florida football team will test the defending champions of the Southeastern Conference, the Gators face five opponents who advanced in the NCAA field last season for the championship.
"We want to test this team throughout the regular season, because it is the necessary preparation for the post-season," UF coach Becky Burleigh. "The Conference on South-East continues to gain strength each season. We must be ready for a championship game. "
On this date in time to hit double digits in September, the Gators were assembled in three groups that received berths in the NCAA Championship field in 2010. Florida is facing a pair of NCAA teams in 2010 - Texas A & M and UCLA August 26 August 28 - in the Lady Vol Classic in Knoxville, Tennessee, Florida, met the NCAA's final 2010 / 4 State Friday, September 9 Florida at James G. Pressly Stadium.

Two other teams that played in the NCAA Championship last year reached Pressly Stadium in 2011. Auburn, the only SEC team to post a victory over the Gators in 2010, responds to Florida for part of 07 October. Florida finished the regular season in 2011 with a meeting on October 28th with South Carolina. The two teams met twice with a championship on the line in the space of a little over a week in 2010. Florida was 1-0 in the Gamecocks to win the SEC title in 2010 (29 October) and the SEC tournament (Nov. 7) to win.

The season starts with two weekends on the road. For the third consecutive year, Florida met in Miami for the game of the season. At the opening of the 2010 season in Gainesville, the Gators took a 2-1 victory in overtime to double over the Hurricanes. Meet the Gators of Miami in Coral Gables, Aug. 19, then face Florida International in Miami on Aug. 21. Florida ended the month of August, made his first appearance in the Lady Vol Classic in Knoxville, Tenn., against Texas A & M and UCLA.

Three consecutive games of their season home in Florida, beginning with the first meeting between Florida and Texas Tech on Sept. 2. Florida is next on September 9, UF and then ends the weekend with her second opponent for the first time in 2011, the Gulf Coast of Florida, September 11.

Another stretch of road four-game begins with a trip to the Midwest. Florida faces Missouri on September 16 and after Sept. 18 Kansas. The season begins Sept. 23 SEC Georgia. Florida made a return trip to Knoxville, Tenn., to face Tennessee on Sept. 25.
Four consecutive home games are next to the UF. Pressly visits Vanderbilt Stadium on Sept. 30, followed by Kentucky on October 2. 2010 SEC Western Division champion Auburn comes to town for a party of 07 October and the home base in Alabama ends Oct. 9.
Three consecutive road games are next. Magnolia State travels to Florida to face Mississippi on October 14 and Mississippi State on Oct. 16. The final competition of the road, the program sends to the SEC from Florida to Arkansas on Oct. 20.
Florida finished the SEC schedule with a pair of home games. LSU visits Pressly Stadium on October 23 and South Carolina on Oct. 28.
The SEC's 2011 tournament, scheduled for November 2 to 6, made his fifth straight appearance in Orange Beach, Alabama NCAA Championship field of 64 teams will be announced November 7.
During the 2010 season, Florida turned in a record 02/03/1919, which included a 9-1-1 record into play SEC. The Gators advanced to the NCAA round of 2010 in second place and won the SEC 11. The Gators ranked No. 12 in the final National Association of Soccer Coaches of America (NSCAA) poll.
